Ms Elaine Clifford is an HCPC registered Senior Audiological Scientist and Hearing Aid Dispenser with over 12 years' clinical experience, including 11 years in the NHS. Her skills lie in the assessment and rehabilitation of hearing, tinnitus, and balance patients. She completed her MSc in Audiology at Southampton University and began her career at Nottingham University Hospital, where she earned a Certificate of Audiological Competence in 1993. She gained extensive experience as a Principal Audiological Scientist, working with adults with hearing and balance difficulties. In 2013, she took up a position as a research audiologist at the MRC Institute of Hearing Research, investigating the effects of aging on hearing and cognition, before joining Holt Hearing and Balance Services in 2014. Ms Clifford continually develops her clinical skills, particularly in tinnitus and vestibular rehabilitation. She has a strong interest in the importance of relaxation and anxiety management in the treatment of vertigo and tinnitus. Her expertise includes hearing assessments and rehabilitation, vertigo, and tinnitus.
