Dr Jannoun is a consultant in sports and exercise medicine, treating Back Pain and Musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. His extended consultation times (1 hour new patient, 30 minutes follow up) allow a thorough clinical assessment (and ultrasound examination of the area of injury if required) and subsequent discussions of his findings. His patients have often expressed their gratitude in his mannerism, professionalism, and patient involvement in the consultation process. He engages his patients in the discussions around best and latest treatments available and uses a step-ladder evidence -based approach.
In light of the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, his practice is in line with current guidance from the Royal College of Physicians, UK Government and Public Health England, and The Faculty of Pain Medicine.
He is highly valued by other Consultants, GPs, and Allied Health Professionals (Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractor) for his expertise in the assessment and treatment of patients presenting with various conditions. He has a wealth of experience in treating the active sportsman and sportswomen of all levels as well as professional athletes including Rugby, PGA Golf, Premier League Football,LTA tennis, England cricket, UK boxing, Triathlon, Rowing, Horse riding, and Ironman.
Dr. Jannoun's clinics allow a one stop approach to assessment (same day Ultrasound carried out by himself, CT, X-ray, MRI) and treatments carried out by him using ultrasound guided injections and spinal injections under X-ray and CT guidance. CT guided injections are very unique in the UK and allow for more accuracy, safety, and speed of procedures in the best interest of his patients.
