Mr. Tariq Miskry is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician specializing in minimal access surgery for endometriosis, fibroids, and heavy periods. After qualifying from the University of London in 1990, he completed specialist training in London. He spent three years at the Royal Free as a Fellow in laparoscopic surgery and research, followed by a visiting Fellowship in Sydney for further experience in keyhole surgery and management of fertility problems. Appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2003, he is now the Clinical Lead for Benign Gynaecology and Lead Surgeon for the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy at the Endometriosis Surgical Centre. He is involved in clinical research in his field and regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals. He also trains undergraduates and postgraduates in minimal access surgery and is a regular presenter at national and international meetings. His areas of expertise include antenatal education, C-section (Caesarean Delivery), childbirth, coil insertion, early pregnancy care, fibroid removal, obstetric ultrasonography, well woman checks, endometriosis, fibroids, miscarriage, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, and pregnancy.
