Mr. Martin Logan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who subspecializes solely in knee surgery. He is triple Fellowship trained in Knee Surgery, having completed an Academic Fellowship (Knee Kinematics) at St Mary's in London, leading to the award of the higher doctorate M.D. from the University of London; a 12-month Clinical Fellowship in Knee Surgery at the Brisbane Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, Australia; and the exclusive Travelling Fellowship from the American Knee Society - the Insall Travelling Fellowship. Mr. Logan has published extensively in peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals on knee surgery and has presented at many national and international meetings. In 2004, he won first prize from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons for best research in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. Mr. Logan treats all knee surgery conditions in children and adults, including sports injuries and osteoarthritis. He was one of the first surgeons in the UK to use patient-matched instrumentation for total knee replacements and has lectured on this topic nationally and internationally.
