Mr. Hamish is a Consultant Specialist in General and Vascular Surgery, with experience in treating a wide range of vascular diseases including aortic aneurysm, carotid disease, diabetic foot, and peripheral arterial disease. He completed medical school and basic surgical training, followed by specialist training in general, laparoscopic, and endocrine surgery at Leeds General Infirmary and Derriford in Plymouth. Mr. Hamish completed his research degree in 2005 at Imperial College London and gained further experience in vascular, endovascular, and organ transplantation surgical training at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals in London. He spent 3 years in Australia as a Senior Consultant Surgeon in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Mr. Hamish also treats general conditions such as haemorrhoids, lumps and bumps, and hernias, with a special interest in minimally-invasive treatment of varicose veins, including endovenous laser (EVLT), radiofrequency ablation, and foam sclerotherapy. He is dedicated to training fellow surgeons in these techniques and ensures patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
