Mr. Joseph Iskaros is a senior consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology. He completed his training in London and became a specialist in 2001. Mr. Iskaros has extensive experience in general obstetrics and is a fully accredited surgeon managing surgical problems in pregnancy, including placenta praevia, placenta accreta, fibroids, uterine anomalies, ovarian cysts, third-degree tears, and multiple pregnancies. He also performs complex fibroid surgery and minimally invasive treatments for fibroids, including embolization. Mr. Iskaros has a special interest in ultrasound in gynaecology, including fertility investigations and foetal assessment. He is a member of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the American Association of Gynaecological Laparoscopists. His expertise includes childbirth, early pregnancy care, fibroid removal, hormone replacement therapy, hysterectomy, and ultrasound.
