Jason Saunders

Mr Jason Saunders is a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in Breast and Oncoplastic Surgery. He qualified in Medicine in 1995 at Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Medical College in London, before completing advanced surgical training across London and South East England. During this period, he undertook extended research in reconstructive surgery at the Royal London Hospital.

He was appointed Consultant General Surgeon in 2009 and works within Barts Health NHS Trust. His clinical practice focuses on the early diagnosis of breast cancer alongside the assessment and treatment of benign breast conditions.

Mr Saunders performs a broad range of breast and oncoplastic procedures, including sentinel lymph node biopsy, therapeutic mammoplasty, breast implant reconstruction, symmetrisation surgery, and nipple reconstruction.

He holds the qualifications MBBS, MA, and FRCS (General Surgery).
