Mr Francis Webb is a highly experienced podiatrist with a commitment to providing high-quality care to his patients. He specializes in treating a range of foot conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, bursa excision, rheumatoid foot, and diabetic foot complications. Mr Webb has extensive experience in orthotics and surgical treatment of foot and ankle injuries related to sports.
He began his career in 1987 as a podiatrist and joined the Diabetic Foot Team at Hope Hospital, Salford. He furthered his skills in rheumatology, peripheral vascular disease, and foot problems related to renal impairment. He also developed an interest in orthotics and biomechanical function of the lower limb. He was awarded a Fellowship in Podiatric Surgery in 1995 after undergoing surgical training and gaining experience in the surgical management of the foot and ankle at Salford Royal Hospital.
Mr Webb became a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital in 2003, specializing in high-risk foot conditions. In 2009, he took up a position as Lead Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Greenwich NHS Trust. He became the Lead Consultant Podiatrist at Buxton in 2011 and was awarded a Fellowship in Podiatric Medicine in 2014 from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Mr Webb's expertise has enabled him to establish High Risk Diabetic Foot Surgery and create strong links with Stepping Hill Hospital MDFC. Due to the success of the Diabetic Clinic and high-risk surgery, new links have also been developed with Chesterfield Royal.
