Basavaiah Natesh

Mr. Basavaiah Natesh, a Consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Head, and Neck Surgeon, boasts over 20 years of specialized experience in otolaryngology.

His medical journey began with the completion of his degree in 1998 at Karnatak University in India. Mr. Natesh underwent ENT and Head Neck Surgery training in India, followed by higher ENT surgical training at renowned centers across the South East of England. He possesses extensive expertise in various adult and pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders, including airway disorders and tracheal pathologies.

Further enhancing his skills, Mr. Natesh pursued advanced training in Head and Neck cancer surgery at Cambridge Addenbrooke's Hospitals. Additionally, he completed an internationally recognized Fellowship in Advanced Head & Neck cancer surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London. He specializes in minimally invasive thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland surgeries, performing over 100 surgeries annually. Notably, he established the Upper Airway Disorder Multidisciplinary Service at UHCW, catering to patients experiencing breathing difficulties due to airway pathologies.

Engaged in research endeavors, Mr. Natesh focuses on Head & Neck Surgery and sleep apnea management, presenting his findings at various national and international meetings. His research contributions are featured in numerous high-impact factor journals, including Cancer, Cancer Treatment Reviews, and BMJ.

As a respected figure in his field, Mr. Natesh regularly participates as faculty for national and international meetings and Head and Neck surgical training courses. He holds accreditation as a trainer for ENT/Head & Neck surgery trainees in the West Midland training program.

Mr. Natesh holds memberships in prestigious professional bodies, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery, British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons, and ENT UK, among others.
