Mr Andrew Fitzgerald, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, based in Manchester working at Trafford General Hospital and Altrincham General Hospital.
Mr Fitzgerald graduated in 1989 in Medicine from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. Following this, he then went on to do his Higher Specialist training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital focusing on spinal surgery, nerve injuries and hand reconstruction. Afterwards, he also completed specialised training in spinal surgery and upper limb surgery at the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Mr Fitzgerald has a breadth of knowledge and can treat a variety of conditions including arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Mallet’s finger, bone spurs, Dupuytren’s contracture, hand extensor injuries, and trigger finger. Additionally, he is also competent in performing trauma surgery and treatments for hip and pelvic pain.
