Dr. Muna Noori is a highly regarded Consultant Obstetrician and a Sub-Specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. She plays a pivotal role at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, where she not only provides exceptional patient care but also serves as the Head of Service for Obstetrics.
Dr. Noori obtained her medical degree from Imperial College School of Medicine in London. She then completed specialised training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the North West Thames region. During this time, her dedication to advancing maternal medicine led her to pursue postgraduate research, resulting in the award of her PhD by Imperial College, London. Her research focused on investigating the underlying mechanisms involved in the development of conditions such as pre-eclampsia and high blood pressure during pregnancy. Dr. Noori maintains her keen interest in maternal medicine and continues to explore these critical aspects through her research.
Subsequently, Dr. Noori pursued further sub-specialist training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at two renowned institutions: the de Swiet Obstetric Medicine Centre and the Centre for Fetal Care, both situated within Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital in London.
Dr. Noori is deeply passionate about her work in Obstetrics and is committed to delivering care of the highest quality while ensuring a positive and patient-centred experience. She strongly advocates for patient choice, actively involving couples in the planning of their birth experiences.
Furthermore, Dr. Noori specialises in pre-pregnancy counselling and provides personalised care to women who have previously experienced traumatic childbirth. She empowers women to make informed decisions about their delivery methods, taking into consideration their unique circumstances. Dr. Noori also supports women who opt for vaginal birth after Caesarean section, providing them with the guidance and care they need.
