About
Miss Heather Evans qualified from the University Hospital of Wales in 1990. She undertook her specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in North West Thames, London. Throughout her training she specialised in pre-invasive disease and early gynaecological cancers.
Miss Evans, sees patients privately at London Gynaecology's practice locations at the Portland Hospital and their new opening in the City of London.
Miss. Evans started her work at the Royal Free in January 2001 as a research fellow looking at the role of HPV virus and cervical cancer. She was appointed as a consultant at the Royal Free in August 2002 and has been working full time in the department since then.
Miss Evan's special interest is pre-invasive disease and she has a weekly colposcopy clinic and out-patient treatment clinic. She is the clinical lead for gynaecological cancer and chair the MDT meeting. She also has a weekly rapid access clinic and out-patient hysteroscopy clinic. She has been the clinical director for 18 months and has been involved in a number of initiatives within the department.
In her spare time away from work she enjoys regular exercise and walking her 5 year old Golden Doodle.
