Miss Emma Kirk possesses a specialised focus on early pregnancy and is recognised as an authority in both gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound.
In her practice, Miss Kirk routinely attends to patients for gynaecological assessments, investigations into abnormal bleeding or pelvic pain, early pregnancy concerns, and contraceptive discussions. Graduating from St George's Hospital (University of London) in 1999, Miss Kirk became a member of The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2009. Holding prominent positions, she serves as the Clinical Lead for Early Pregnancy and Emergency Gynaecology at the Royal Free Hospital in London, an Executive Member of the Association of Early Pregnancy Units, and acts as a Medical Adviser to the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.
Miss Kirk is deeply committed to advancing her field, having worked as a research fellow for many years. Her extensive contributions are evident in over 50 publications in reputable research journals, covering various aspects of early pregnancy.
Actively involved in teaching, Miss Kirk frequently delivers lectures on different facets of early pregnancy. She co-organises the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists advanced training skill course on Early Pregnancy and Emergency Gynaecology and is a regular lecturer on gynaecological ultrasound courses.
