About
Miss Maryam Alfa-Wali is a Consultant Colorectal and Trauma Surgeon at St Mary's Hospital, London, affiliated with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Furthermore, she has a Master’s degree in Surgical Education (MEd) from Imperial College and is a Member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MFST). She underwent training in London and obtained her Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). Ms Alfa-Wali takes a keen interest in shaping the next generation of surgeons .
With over 50 publications in prestigious international journals, her contributions to advancing surgical knowledge are further underscored by invitations to speak at international conferences, where she shares insights and innovations with fellow professionals.
