Oncology, boasts over two decades of expertise. Based at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, she extends her services to private patients at The Harborne Hospital as well. Within Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Dr. Byrom fulfills the role of clinical lead for colposcopy and vulval diseases, demonstrating a keen focus on HPV-related ailments.
Beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Byrom assumes the pivotal position of Trust's Clinical Service Planning Lead (CSPL), actively contributing to strategic planning and the advancement of services. Moreover, she held the esteemed position of Chair of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) training and accreditation committee for a commendable four years.
Dr. Byrom earned her medical degree from the University of London in 1993 and officially joined the General Medical Council's specialist register in obstetrics and gynaecology in 2005.
