Dr. Ioanna Parisi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and extensive experience in diagnosing and managing these conditions.

She has a particular focus on IBD in adolescents and plays a key role in the Adolescent IBD Service at UCLH, where she leads a dedicated weekly endoscopy list specifically for adolescent patients.

Dr. Parisi also heads the Capsule Endoscopy Service at UCLH, one of the highest-volume services of its kind in the UK. She performs small bowel, colon, and pan-enteric capsule endoscopies, including home-based and remote procedures.
