About
Dr. Imran Mannan is an expert in geriatric and general internal medicine at the Physicians' Clinic, where he provides care for a variety of conditions affecting older adults. He has particular expertise in acute geriatrics, frailty, falls prevention, and managing older patients undergoing surgery. At University College Hospital London, he leads the orthogeriatrics service and works closely with other specialists to provide top-quality multidisciplinary care.
His goal is always to help individuals regain their independence as soon as possible. Managing falls includes not only assessing the consequences of a fall but also taking steps to prevent future falls from happening. He is also experienced in working with older people who require management of multiple conditions; this requires a holistic approach and an understanding of how each individual condition can affect overall health.
Additionally, he specializes in treating acutely ill general medical patients often presenting with unexplained symptoms while ensuring that they feel comfortable throughout the treatment process.
