Yiannis Ioannou

Dr Yiannis Ioannou is a Consultant General Paediatrician based in London and welcomes consultations on all conditions affecting children of all ages, including: reflux and colic, abdominal pain, constipation, headaches, coughing, asthma and wheezing as well as skin rashes and infections. He also offers well baby checks, immunisations, health assessments and health advice, offering continuity of care at multiple sites to suit your location. 

Dr Ioannou graduated with a BA Hons degree from Pembroke College, Cambridge University and obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in London. He is currently based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London where he is also the lead for paediatric undergraduate education for medical students of Imperial College, London. Dr Ioannou is also Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College.

Further to his extensive and diverse general paediatric experience, he has completed higher specialist training in paediatric emergency and paediatric intensive care and retrieval at St Mary’s Hospital, London. He has also completed subspecialty training, and gained experience in paediatric nephrology, neurology, oncology and neonatology at Evelina London Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, Australia.

Dr Ioannou also completed an MSc in Clinical Paediatrics, was awarded a fellowship with the Higher Education Academy and received a Teaching Excellence Award for NHS Teachers by Imperial College School of Medicine.
