Dr. Madan is a Consultant Dermatologist, laser, and dermatological surgeon. He has a special interest in the use of lasers in dermatology and skin cancer surgery, including Mohs Surgery. After training in medicine and dermatology in India, he was placed on the prestigious Cambridge medical rotation, after which he trained in dermatology. With a special interest in procedural dermatology, he completed the only skin laser fellowship in the UK. He then spent another year training in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery at the Welsh Institute of Dermatology in Cardiff. Dr. Madan is the president of the British Medical Laser Association and past secretary of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group. He has published 110 articles, authored 10 book chapters, and edited books on specialty examination in dermatology and skin cancer. Additionally, he has been an invited reviewer for 11 international journals and has 70 scientific presentations. He runs a laser course and is the director of the laser module for the MSc in "Aesthetic and Ageing" medicine course.
