Dr Sweta Rai is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon at King's College Hospital , London; who holds certificate of specialist training (CCT) in Dermatology and specialist credentials in her subspecialist interests of skin cancer recognition, skin cancer surgery, Mohs Micrographic surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology/Surgery; attained by completing prestigious post graduate fellowships both here in the U.K and at specialist centres in the U.S.A. She has trained at centres for Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery excellence in the U.K and the USA, namely The Manchester Dermatology Centre, Portsmouth Dermatology Centre (U.K),The Yale Dermatologic Surgery Centre in Connecticut and Mount Sinai Dermatology Centre in New York.

Apart from her above specialist training Dr Rai has a particular interest in paediatric skin lesions and Paediatric Dermatologic Surgery including Paediatric Laser Surgery which has resulted in her starting a novel paediatric dermatologic surgery service at the Harley Street Clinic, London, where she treats a wide variety of skin lesions on children. Additionally, she also consults on all skin conditions and performs basic and advanced skin surgery on children.
Dr Rai believes in sound clinical research which she performs as a part of her Consultant role at Kings College, London, she also holds senior lecturer status with Manchester University by holding faculty status on the Manchester Skin Ageing Programme and at Kings College London for teaching undergraduates. Dr. Rai presents and publishes her work both nationally and internationally and she also delivers consumer-facing skin care advice through interviews with national publications, including Hello Magazine, where she has a regular column.
