Dr. Simon Williams is a consultant cardiologist specializing in heart failure, from community clinics and inpatient MDT work to cardiac transplant, VAD assessment, and pacing therapy. He is an honorary senior lecturer and leads a research group studying the immune system in heart failure and post-cardiac transplantation. Dr. Williams has over 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals and frequently speaks at international conferences. He has served as Treasurer for the British Society for Heart Failure (BSH) and was the Programme Director for BSH annual meetings in 2012 and 2014. Dr. Williams' clinical expertise includes cardiac pacing, cardiac rehabilitation, heart transplant, pacemaker implantation, and managing chest pain, dizziness, heart attacks, and high blood pressure. In his spare time, he enjoys supporting Altrincham FC, running, skiing, and watching Coronation Street.
