Dr. Raj Mallipeddi is a leading Consultant Dermatologist with special interests in skin cancer. He has an extensive background in dermatology, having been awarded his medical degree from Imperial College London and completing his specialist dermatology training at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology. He spent two years researching squamous cell carcinoma in epidermolysis bullosa and was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. He completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology in Dallas, USA. Dr. Mallipeddi has served as the President of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery and is a member of several national guideline committees. He is heavily involved in medical education as the national curriculum lead for Mohs and Advanced Dermatological Surgery. His areas of expertise include mole checks, mole mapping, mole removal, MOHS surgery, laser therapy, photodynamic therapy, minor skin surgery, and skin cancer.
