Dr Pooja Gulati is a Consultant in Rheumatology and General Medicine who works privately at the Lister Hospital and has an NHS base at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. She has expertise in a wide range of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and sarcoidosis, and she also performs joint and soft tissue injections.
Dr Gulati obtained her medical degree from the University of Birmingham in 2004, became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008, completed postgraduate training in Rheumatology and General Medicine across north and west London, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2020. She also holds a PG Diploma in Clinical Education from UCL awarded in 2019.
Dr Gulati has an active teaching role at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where she previously served as undergraduate lead for Rheumatology teaching, regularly delivers lectures to medical students and postgraduate doctors, supervises and mentors junior doctors at all stages of training, and is an academic tutor for Imperial College London.
