Dr. Pooja Gulati is a Consultant in Rheumatology and General Medicine who works privately at the Lister Hospital and has an NHS base at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. She has expertise in a wide range of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, osteoarthritis, joint and soft tissue injections, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, systemic lupus erythematosus, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and sarcoidosis.
Dr. Gulati obtained her medical degree from the University of Birmingham in 2004 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008. She underwent postgraduate training in Rheumatology and General Medicine across north and west London at district-general and teaching hospitals. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2020 and holds a PG Diploma in Clinical Education awarded from UCL in 2019.
Dr. Gulati has an active teaching role at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and is the undergraduate lead for Rheumatology teaching. She regularly delivers lectures to undergraduate medical students and postgraduate doctors and also supervises and mentors junior doctors at all stages of their training within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She is an academic tutor for Imperial College London.
