Dr. Paul Kooner is a highly experienced Consultant Hepatologist with a focus on the diagnosis and management of liver disease, specifically fatty liver disease, liver Fibroscan, and abnormal liver function tests. He has worked in the NHS for over ten years at the Royal London Hospital and has led the regional hepatocellular carcinoma service. He aims to detect liver disease early in order to prevent it from progressing to more serious problems, and he conducts thorough examinations and tests to achieve this goal.
Dr. Kooner has introduced new liver cancer screening pathways for early diagnosis and screening of liver problems. He has also previously led the outreach hepatology service for Queens Hospital. Recently, he has moved his NHS service to Hertfordshire.
