Melanie Powell

Dr. Melanie Powell studied medicine at The Royal Free and trained in cancer medicine at The Royal Marsden, Mount Vernon, and The Middlesex Hospitals. She has been focusing on the treatment of gynecological, head and neck cancers, and radiation therapy for lymphoma and prostate cancer. Dr. Powell's research interests include improved targeting of radiation therapy to reduce toxicity and potentially increase cure rates. She is a member of the National Cancer Research Network Gynaecological Cancer Group and sits on The East London and City Research Ethics Committee. She is also involved in teaching medical students at Barts and The London School of Medicine.
