Dr. Leon Creaney is a Sports & Exercise Medicine doctor (physician) based in the North West England region (Manchester, Cheshire & Liverpool). He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2001 and completed medical placements in rheumatology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, A&E, intensive care, and general medicine. He then spent three years training specifically in Sports and Exercise Medicine in London and began working at the Royal London. He focused primarily on musculoskeletal medicine and continued to work in Sport and Exercise Medicine with several rugby and football teams, British Athletics, and the English Institute of Sport. He has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal problems, bone health, and conditions induced by exercise such as asthma, fatigue, and anaemia. In his spare time, he is a keen athlete, having run 200m and 400m competitively.
