Dr. Laura Corr is a Consultant Cardiologist with a distinguished career in interventional cardiology. She qualified in medicine at University College in 1981 and did higher medical training at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School. Dr. Corr gained a PhD in vascular biology at University College London and the Royal Brompton. She trained in advanced interventional techniques in France, treating over 3000 cases per year. Dr. Corr has performed over 400 procedures annually, including angioplasty, stenting, valvuloplasty, pacemaker insertion, and selective arterial embolisation. She was elected a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the Royal College of Physicians. Dr. Corr has been an Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal and has published widely on risk factor management and angioplasty.
