Dr Kirit Ardeshna is a Consultant Haematologist with more than two decades of experience in the treatment of blood cancers. His clinical practice is focused on lymphoid malignancies, including Hodgkin lymphoma and non Hodgkin lymphoma, as well as advanced therapeutic approaches such as haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and bone marrow transplantation. He also has expertise in modern immunotherapy for lymphoma, including cellular therapies such as CAR T cell treatment.
He is Clinical Director of the Cancer Division at University College London Hospitals, which incorporates one of the largest lymphoma services in the United Kingdom. He has an established national and international reputation in lymphoma research and is actively involved in the design and delivery of clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for haematological malignancies. In addition, he serves as a medical advisor to Lymphoma Action and Blood Cancer UK.
Dr Ardeshna qualified in medicine from the University of Cambridge in 1990 and was awarded an MD from the University of London in 2001. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. His work combines specialist expertise in complex blood disorders with leadership in cancer service development and clinical research.
