Dr Burova graduated from the First Moscow Medical School, I. M. Sechenov (now I.M. Sechenov First Moscow Medical University) with the Russian equivalent of the MBBS qualification. Her Higher Specialist training in Dermatology and Venereology took place at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Sechenov’s First Moscow Medical School, Moscow. She has diplomas in Paediatric Dermatology, Clinical
Homeopathy and Clinical Hypnosis.
Her PhD theses were in microbiology, epidemiology and dermatology.
In 2006 she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (London) (FRCP)
In 2019 Dr Burova was awarded a title of Associated Professor (Russia)

Dr Burova has a number of publications to her name, including three book chapters, and is on the editorial boards of the Russian Journal of Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases and “Medexpert” (Tatarstan).
