Dr Kalu Ogbureke is a consultant paediatrician who practises at BMI The Blackheath Hospital, The Harley Street Clinic, The Portland Hospital, and Chiswick Medical Centre. He also sees patients at the Frimley Health NHS Trust. Dr Ogbureke has over 20 years of medical experience and specialises in neonatal and respiratory medicine.

Dr Ogbureke qualified in 1987 from the University of Nigeria, before obtaining a Diploma in Child Health at the Royal College of Physicians, London in 1995. He undertook his specialist training in paediatrics at King's College Hospital, London.
Dr Ogbureke is actively involved in research and was previously the local co-ordinator at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the EPICure 2 study which looked at perinatal outcomes for preterm babies in the UK and Ireland. Dr Ogbureke also has numerous publications in journals and has experience in conducting controlled trials and systematic reviews.
He also has a passion for teaching and mentors junior medical students and nurses, and has held the title of Chief Medical Director at Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria. Dr Ogbureke has also been an examiner for Guy's, St Thomas', and King's College Medical Schools. He has twice been invited to speak as a guest lecturer at the Annual Scientific Conference of the Paediatric Association of Nigeria.
