Dr. Graham Cole, a Consultant Cardiologist, is stationed at the renowned Hammersmith Hospital, a part of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Graham's academic journey commenced at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge University, where he obtained a First Class Honours degree in Natural Sciences in 2005. Remarkably, he achieved Distinctions in all areas of his final medical examinations at Cambridge University. Following his junior doctor role in the Hammersmith medical rotation, he pursued a decade of specialized cardiology training in the prestigious North-West Thames rotation. This included a four-year fellowship in cardiac MRI at the Heart Hospital Imaging Centre under Prof James Moon, the London CT fellowship, and a PhD in echocardiography.
With a commitment to impactful research, Dr. Cole has contributed significantly to the field. His achievements include developing strategies to assist patients in making personalized decisions about treatment options and advancing imaging techniques for precise diagnoses and monitoring changes in a patient's condition. He recently co-led a substantial study utilizing advanced MRI scanning to identify cardiac damage types resulting from COVID-19 infection. Dr. Cole regularly evaluates patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, or palpitations following COVID-19.
