Ghada Mikhail is an Interventional Cardiology Consultant and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer. She leads the Cardiac Catheter Lab and established the TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) programme in 2008. Ghada also directs the annual Imperial Valve and Cardiovascular Meeting (IVCC) and continues to engage in academic research, publishing widely and presenting at national and international cardiology meetings.Ghada sees patients with general cardiovascular problems, including hypertension and hyperlipidaemia. She treats coronary heart disease, performing coronary angiography and angioplasty, and manages valvular heart disease, having performed the TAVI procedure since 2008.
