About

Dr. Deborah Boyle is a highly respected Consultant Gynaecologist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, where she holds leadership roles in both the vulval service and colposcopy. With a wealth of experience and expertise, Dr. Boyle specialises in lower genital tract problems, particularly vulval disorders and cervical pathology related to abnormal smear tests.

Dr. Boyle's extensive background in immunity and infection enhances her understanding of the complex relationship between these factors and lower genital tract diseases. As a certified colposcopist, she manages abnormal smear tests and pre-cancerous conditions affecting the genital skin.

In addition to her sub-specialisation in the lower genital tract, Dr. Boyle provides comprehensive gynaecological care to women facing various issues such as heavy or painful periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menopause, contraception, and pelvic pain.

Dr. Boyle obtained her medical degree from Sheffield University and pursued postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London. In recognition of her research on the correlation between bacterial vaginosis and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, she was awarded an MD in 2000. She also achieved the prestigious MRCOG qualification in the same year. Dr. Boyle's exceptional contributions to her field led to her appointment as a consultant at the Royal Free in 2007.

Dr. Deborah Boyle offers a wide range of treatments and interventions to address various gynaecological concerns. Her areas of expertise include managing vulval skin conditions and disorders, sexual pain, colposcopy, vulvoscopy, bacterial vaginosis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and vaginal warts. With her compassionate approach and commitment to delivering the highest standard of care, Dr. Boyle strives to improve the well-being and reproductive health of her patients.
