Dr. Asjid Qureshi is a well-respected Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes. He has a wide range of experience in all areas of endocrinology and helps clients suffering from a variety of disorders of the adrenal, pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, and adrenal glands. He is also an expert in male and female hormone disorders, particularly polycystic ovarian syndrome. He was awarded his medical degree from Edinburgh University in 1992 and undertook his specialist training across numerous centres of excellence in London. During this time, he became heavily involved in research and was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine in 2006 for his research into obesity and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Since then, he has obtained numerous research grants, and his findings have been published extensively. His strong clinical and academic background has led to the appointment of College Tutor and Training Programme Director. In 2009, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and has since been appointed to numerous committees within the NHS and at the deanery level. He is a member of the Society for Endocrinology and Diabetes UK. His areas of expertise include pituitary function tests, endocrinology, diabetes, insulin resistance, thyroid issues, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, obesity, and general medicine.
