Dr Anne Armstrong is a Consultant Oncologist specialising in women’s health. She also holds an NHS post with The Christie Foundation in Manchester and an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at the University of Manchester. Her clinical work focuses on breast cancer and fertility considerations following cancer treatment, alongside involvement in the development of new therapeutic approaches.
She completed her medical degree at Bristol University and subsequently undertook specialist training in oncology. Dr Armstrong later returned to the University of Manchester, where she completed a Master’s degree investigating the use of vaccines in cancer treatment.
Dr Armstrong is actively involved in clinical trials of emerging therapies and is a member of the National Cancer Research Network Breast Studies Group. Her professional expertise includes immunotherapy, breast cancer management, fertility issues following treatment, and the delivery of clinical trials for new cancer therapies.
