Mr. Colin Butler is a highly esteemed Consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Paediatric Surgeon practising at prominent London hospitals, including GOSH Private and The Portland Hospital. With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Butler is well-versed in various aspects of otolaryngological surgery. His areas of expertise encompass tonsillectomy, hearing loss, ear infection, adenoids, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, as well as airway and tracheal reconstruction.
Mr. Butler graduated with a medical degree from the University of London in 2004, following his Bachelor of Science in Anatomy awarded in 2001. He underwent specialist surgical training at several leading London teaching hospitals. During his training, he earned a PhD for his research into airway stem cell biology, focusing on regenerative methods for the airway.
Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Butler is actively involved in research and has authored over one hundred publications. He is currently engaged in a research project at the Institute of Child Health, exploring novel gene therapy approaches and mucosal sheet technology for the airway.
