Ms Christina Loughran

Dr Christina Loughran has over 14 years’ experience running group and individual CBT therapy for stress management, anger management, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, psycho-education and mixed diagnosis. Her doctorate was in changing eating behaviour for overeaters, and she trained in the Eating Disorder Unit of the Maudsley Hospital, working with people with anorexia and bulimia. She was formerly a barrister for 20 years, and now works with corporate clients.

Her approach is integrative, using CBT to target symptoms and drawing from a wide range of therapies as additional tools and psychodynamic interpretations for understanding childhood trauma triggers. These include object relations, Attachment Narrative Therapy (ANT), compassionate mind therapy and motivational interviewing therapy.
