About
Dr. Bryan McDonald is a consultant dermatologist who carries out adult and paediatric dermatology clinics, seeing patients with a wide range of skin disorders including complex inflammatory skin diseases such as acne vulgaris, psoriasis, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa. He also offers skin cancer assessment and performs skin surgery.
Dr. McDonald gained his MB BCh in 2000 from Queen's University of Belfast where he initially trained as a general practitioner. He achieved his membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners before taking up a GP Partnership. During this period, he developed a particular interest in dermatology and moved to London to pursue higher specialist dermatology training. He is currently the honorary secretary of the British Association of Dermatologists, a member of the British Association of Dermatologists Therapeutics and Guidelines Committee, and chair of the British Association of Dermatologists medicines access sub-committee.
