He completed his medical degree at the University of Leeds in 2009, followed by specialised training in obstetrics and gynaecology in North West London. In 2015, he became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and played a foundational role in establishing the International Society of Uterine Transplantation (ISUTx) in 2016.

In 2019, Mr. Jones earned his PhD, concentrating on fertility preservation and restoration. His groundbreaking research includes social egg freezing and uterus transplantation. Throughout his career, he has worked at prestigious institutions like Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, Hammersmith, and St Mary's Hospitals.
