Jude's selective dorsal rhizotomy
Jude is now closer than ever to achieving his dream, as just a few days after he underwent the selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) neurological procedure at The Portland Hospital, he was able to stand flat footed for the first time in his life.
Hattie's scoliosis treatment
When Hattie first felt her back hurting in early 2019, her parents didn’t immediately think it was anything serious. However, a scan later that year showed a significant curvature of her spine and an eventual diagnosis of severe spinal scoliosis.
The discovery of the curve on Hattie's back led her parents to The Portland Hospital for surgery in order to prevent the condition from getting worse.
Joel's heart surgery
After being referred to The Harley Street Clinic, Joel's initial nerves about corrective surgery were alleviated, after the operation was a complete success.
