Orthopaedic care

Whether you require a hip or knee replacement or immediate care for a trauma injury, our pioneering orthopaedic consultants and wider multidisciplinary team treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions across all ages, from sports injuries and arthritis to complex spinal conditions and congenital deformities.

The Lister Hospital is home to the Mako robot, aiding state-of-art surgery for hip and knee replacements.

Cancer care

From our One-stop Breast Clinic to our specialist Sarcoma Service, our renowned experts are leaders in providing highly specialised oncology care to patients visiting us at The Lister Hospital.

As part of our comprehensive cancer care services we are in partnership with Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC) based at our satellite centre, the Sydney Street Outpatients and Diagnostic Centre. We work with the LOC to provide the local community with improved access to a range of cancer care services, including dedicated consulting rooms, individual treatment bays, oncology pharmacy, digital PET CT scanner and blood laboratory.

Fertility care

The Lister Fertility Clinic is widely recognised as one of the leading private fertility treatment centres in the UK. The clinic was established in 1988, and since opening it has maintained its reputation as being one of the most successful IVF treatment clinics in the UK.

The Lister Fertility Clinic in Chelsea offers a wide range of fertility services including Egg Freezing, ICSI, Fertility preservation and offers an egg sharing programme.

Acute Admissions Service

Our Acute Admissions Service provides 24/7 care for urgent and unplanned medical admissions, so your patients can benefit from consultant physician-led care without delay.

This Service is available across four of our London hospitals, London Bridge Hospital, The Lister Hospital, The Princess Grace Hospital and The Wellington Hospital.

All four of our Acute Admissions facilities are equipped to care for complex patients requiring acute medical care, so no matter where they’d admitted or what their condition, you can rest assured that they’ll receive the highest standard of care available.

Medical services for Teenagers

As part of our caring for different age groups we have extended our specialist care for children, normally only available at our hospital in Central London, The Portland Hospital, to our outpatient centre in West London, Chiswick Medical Centre.

Soft tissue and joint problems are common amongst teenagers who are active and pursuing a sports interest. We provide follow-up appointments from urgent care (NHS or private hospitals) to aid swift recovery.

Additionally, our dermatologists offer treatment for acne and other skin conditions like rosacea, eczema and psoriasis which can often become more inflamed at times of stress, often associated with teenage years and the increased pressures of study.
