Why choose us?

The Lumps and bumps clinic at Chelsea Outpatient Centre is a new rapid diagnostic service for soft tissue masses in men and women, providing comprehensive care and routine screening services. We swiftly diagnose benign lumps and confirm other conditions according to NICE guidelines. This is a one of a kind service in the UK private healthcare sector, and you can expect to receive exceptional care and treatment

What we offer

This rapid assessment diagnostic clinic can be accessed via a GP, consultant or Self-referral. Your consultant will then assess your lump and schedule an ultrasound. Depending on the nature of the mass, a biopsy, MRI, or onward specialist referral will be required. Our Fast track diagnostic screening program means you may be seen and screened in the same facility with a rapid turnaround for results.

Criteria for referral according to NICE guidelines are one or more of the following criteria:

  • Lump is 5cm or more
  • Increasing in size
  • Deep
  • Painful
  • Recurring lump after a previous removal
