Play a vital role in the treatment of cancer. Manage the patient pathway through the many radiotherapy processes, providing the highest standards of care every step of the way.

Pharmacy Technicians

Hand Therapists

Provide evidence-based nutrition assessment and intervention to support adult and paediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions undergoing care and treatment at HCA. Ranging from critical care to neurorehabilitation a broad range of clinical opportunities exist to develop competencies in enteral, parenteral feeding and general dietetic care.
Physiologists

Audiological Scientists
Join our dedicated team that specialises in the diagnosis, analysis and treatment of human auditory disorders such as hearing loss, tinnitus and audio balance deficiencies.
Sonographers

Training and development

Unlocking a brighter future for Ian
When Ian came off his bike in a serious accident, he suffered an acute spinal injury and was almost completely paralysed from the chest down. Dad of two, he was devastated that he couldn’t play with his children as he used to. He had no use of his hands and his only method of moving around was using a wheelchair. But then Ian was referred to The Wellington Hospital. We treated Ian using the Lokomat, a robot-assisted walking device, and an exercise device called the Armeo. Ian now never uses a wheelchair, walks with crutches and drives a specially adapted car. Our therapists have helped him use his left hand and with ongoing treatment, Ian is also learning how to use his right again.

As the largest independent rehabilitation unit in the UK, the Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at The Wellington Hospital cares for patients with acute conditions, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, stroke and other neurological conditions.
