We are home to one of the UK's largest private gastrointestinal (GI) units. Our unit brings together medical and surgical specialties, managing the many diseases and disorders of the digestive system. At the heart of our unit is our Endoscopy Centre.

Same-day access to experts
We provide a dedicated referral helpline for patients and GPs with same-day appointments available. The helpline telephone number is 020 3214 3420. It is open between Monday and Friday 8am-8pm and on Saturday from 8am-5pm.
Comprehensive diagnostics and imaging
Because we are based within an acute hospital with imaging services available in all of our facilities across our campus in St Johns Wood, patients who require immediate imaging, be that MRI or CT, can be seen same day in either our North building, South building or Platinum Medical Centre.
We offer consultations and all the necessary investigations and diagnostic tests needed for all upper and lower gastrointestinal digestive conditions including:
- Colonoscopy, gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy
- MRI, CT, Ultrasounds and X-ray
- Fluoroscopy, enteroscopy
- Fibroscan
- PET scanning for cancer staging
- ERCP
- Hydrogen breath tests to identify gut bacteria and carbohydrate malabsorption
- Haematology and biochemistry suites to assess blood, tissue and their composition
- Stool testing (faecal occult blood)
- Barium studies
- Oesophageal physiology testing
- Nuclear medicine scans (SEHCAT, HIDA)

- Procedure results will be sent to the referring GP
- Referrers can directly refer patients to a specific named consultant
- All patients with private medical insurance will need a referral from their GP to gain authorisation from your insurance company
- Self-funded patients do not need to have a referral letter to book a consultation
