General Practitioner (Private Patient Family Practice)

Location: Golders Green, London

HCA Site: The Wellington Diagnostic and Outpatients Centre at Golders Green.

Hours: 2.5 days per week, ideally including Wednesdays

Reporting Line: CEO of The Wellington Hospital.

Contract: Salaried Fixed-Term Contract (12 months), with a view to becoming permanent

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner to join our established team at Golders Green Diagnostic and Outpatients Centre

This is a highly respected private family practice, part of The Wellington Hospital, and has a CQC rating of "Outstanding". Generations of patients from Golders Green and the surrounding areas choose to receive personalised care from GPs who understand both their medical and cultural needs.

Our patients value the continuity and long-standing relationships they build with their GP, and we pride ourselves on delivering truly individualised care. With extended pre-booked appointment times ranging from 20 to 40 minutes, you will have the time and support needed to provide attentive, patient-centred consultations where individuals feel heard, valued, and cared for.

Onsite, you will have access to a comprehensive range of services including 25 consulting rooms, MRI, CT Xray, ECHO, ECG & ultrasound and specialist consultants, enabling rapid access to referrals and investigations.

As part of the wider HCA Healthcare UK network, you will be supported by a fully integrated healthcare infrastructure, one of the largest private patient hospital networks, ensuring patients receive prompt, safe, and expert care from leading multidisciplinary teams within state-of-the-art clinical environments. What You Will Bring

  • MBBS qualification, GMC registration, and inclusion on the GP Register with a licence to practise in the UK
  • Significant post-qualification experience within a family-oriented GP practice
  • Competency in conducting procedures including cervical smears, phlebotomy, ECGs, and vaccinations
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and five-star customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence using administrative systems and patient databases, including preparing patient correspondence and letters
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of the cultural and medical needs of the Golders Green patient community
  • The ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
