This is an exciting time for an innovative, driven and knowledgeable Director of Business Development to join our team at The Harley Street Campus. The dynamic leadership team at The Harley Street Clinic and The LOC have been working successfully to provide the best care to deliver complex care for a range of specialities such as endocrine, cardiac, orthopaedic, thoracic, cancer, spinal, oncology and neuroscience amongst others.
The Executive Team is looking for a Director of Business Development Manager to ensure that The Harley Street Campus receive first class business development support and be the first point of contact for senior site colleagues including consultants. You will pride yourself on having a passion for delivering customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.

What you will bring:
You will be responsible for the delivery of substantial revenue growth in line with the hospital’s strategic objectives, through the design and implementation of an appropriate business development strategy. You will inherit a zealous and highly competent team of Business Development Leads. As an inspirational leader you will be able to work at pace, be confident, adaptable, proactive and demonstrate a desire to improve on their existing skill base to add value to the department. You will also assist the CEO and Executive Team with delivering key projects pertinent to revenue growth. You will also be instrumental in identifying growth and referrer opportunities across the spectrum of healthcare services. As such the post holder will be given relevant growth targets, and deliverables will be measured against set metrics.
What you will do:
Proactively research, develop and launch profitable new service lines/referral pathways, in conjunction with the Senior Management Team as part of an ongoing business expansion programme.
Through active project management ensure new initiatives are delivered promptly and well within the time expectations of any potential/new customer(s).
Provide a weekly / monthly business development report(s) to the CEO to support the hospital’s monthly report to the HCA International Executive Management Team
Support hospital Consultant Liaison, Relationship Managers and Marketing team direct reports and members in driving hospital business through the synergies that naturally exist within the HCA Group and in local/national markets.
Undertake regular high quality market research to monitor performance against competitors and identify potential business expansion opportunities, making use of appropriate members of the team.
Work with the CEO, COO’s and CFO in the preparation and presentation of annual operating plans, 3 year plans and other strategic initiatives.
Think innovatively about relationship building throughout the private healthcare sector in London and appropriate regions, including working with competitors where this will be of benefit to HCA, to maximise new revenue opportunities
Establish and provide strategic direction for the Business on site, facilitating ability to enact required changes to processes and procedures to enhance consultant engagement.
Act as principle point of contact for the Contact Centre which undertake all consultant bookings and enquiries for The Harley Street Clinic and Campus.
