Fixed Term Contract – 6 months from start date
We are recruiting four Self‑Pay Coordinators to join our Revenue Cycle team on a 6‑month Fixed Term Contract. To support this, we will be hosting an Assessment Day on Saturday 21st March 2026. This will be an opportunity to meet members of the Revenue Cycle team, learn more about the role and HCA as an employer, and take part in an interview on the day.
Please see the full role details below. If the position sounds of interest, please apply — Harriet will be in touch with further information about the assessment day.
This is a proactive, sales‑driven role focused on converting self‑pay enquiries into bookings. The postholder will follow up on self‑pay quotes, contact patients directly, explain pricing and package details, and guide them through the booking and payment process with empathy and professionalism.
A key part of the role is delivering an outstanding patient experience — building rapport with individuals who may be anxious or unfamiliar with private healthcare, while confidently handling questions around cost, timing and competitor comparison. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a patient‑centred approach are essential, alongside the ability to meet conversion targets.
Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other’s may think this is just a role in Revenue Cycle, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.
What you’ll do:
Follow up on self‑pay quotes by phone and email, guiding patients through pricing, inclusions/exclusions and booking/payment options.
Support patients with a warm, patient‑friendly approach, building rapport and helping those who may be anxious or unfamiliar with private healthcare.
Proactively convert enquiries into bookings, using strong sales and communication skills to understand patient needs and highlight the benefits of choosing HCA Healthcare, while maintaining a patient‑centred approach.
Handle questions around cost, timing or competitor comparison confidently and accurately.
Log all interactions in the CRM system and ensure written communications are clear, compliant and professional.
Generate accurate self‑pay quotes and admission agreements using the self‑pay tool.
Work collaboratively with schedulers, medical secretaries, bookings, payment teams and clinical colleagues to ensure a seamless patient experience.
What you’ll bring:
Experience in private healthcare or sales operations
Strong customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, hospitality or service-led environment.
Excellent communication skills - confident, clear and engaging.
A proven ability to work in a sales‑focused environment, converting warm leads and achieving targets
Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs.
Empathy, emotional intelligence and a consistently patient‑friendly approach.
