We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Dietitian to join The Lister Hospital, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC. This is an excellent role for a highly skilled and motivated clinician looking to advance their practice within a leading private healthcare setting.
The Lister Hospital, located in the heart of Chelsea, has been a centre of excellence for over 30 years. With access to leading consultants from London’s top teaching hospitals, we provide contemporary treatment across a range of specialist services including fertility, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and surgery. Our 60‑bed facility includes a six‑bed critical care unit and a 13‑bedded acute medical unit, enabling us to deliver personalised, high‑quality care for patients with diverse clinical needs.
As a Specialist Dietitian, working across both hospitals within the inpatient teams, you will provide expert, evidence‑based nutritional assessment and intervention for a varied caseload across the hospitals. This includes inpatients from surgical, medical, oncology and critical care areas. You will use your specialist knowledge of nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral feeding, to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team through ward rounds and MDT meetings.
The specialist dietitian will be supported by advanced dietitians to ensure effective dietetic cover across clinical areas during period of planned or unexpected leave, as well as with audits, service development and quality improvement projects. There may also be opportunities to have a supportive role within the outpatient department, aiding the outpatient team during times of high activity or staff shortage
What you'll bring:
HCPC Registration
Professional qualification in Dietetics (BSc Hons Degree in Dietetics or equivalent)
Experience in provision of Dietetic inpatient service, including 3 years post registrations experience.
