Location: London Victoria
Part time: 32 hours per week (full time being 40 hours)
Shift times: Monday – Thursday (clinic closes at 5pm)

Salary: £29,036.80 pro rata

We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our Primary Care Team based in Victoria at our GP clinic which is based on a prestigious client site. You will work alongside our primary care multi-disciplinary team which includes Physios, Psychologists, GP's and Health Screening Doctors, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

As a Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face of the company, you will be required to provide a warm, friendly and knowledgeable service at all times, as well as being immaculately presented in the front of house uniform. You will be expected to provide an emphatic and efficient patient experience from start to finish.

Although working alongside the primary care team onsite, you will be the sole Receptionist here. However, you will liaise with other Reception colleagues at our other site on the South Coast. Some of the duties will include looking after multiple inboxes, dealing with blood collection to go to the labs, appointment managements for ECG's, Scans and other diagnostics, Clinial Waste Services and assisting the GP's.

What you’ll do:

  • To meet and greet all patients, visitors, GP’s and staff and assist with their enquiries

  • To have a good understanding of the medical system and the relevant Microsoft office programs

  • Issuing clients with the necessary paperwork and explaining forms

  • Dealing with face to face, telephone and E-Mail queries with an excellent telephone manner and communication skills

  • To work collaboratively with the Registered Manager and Clinical staff to deliver the patient journey

  • To be visible accessible and approachable for staff, patients and the public and ensure effective communication and resolution of any on site enquiries or escalation of complaints to the Senior Receptionist as needed. In this role you will learn from our leading experts and will contribute the vital care of our patients, as a valued member of the HCA Group.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous knowledge and experience in the hospitality, service or healthcare industry would be advantageous

  • Good general level of education to GCSE level or equivalent, 5 GCSEs or more preferred at C grade or above (demonstrated through a competency-based interview) or equivalent

  • Excellent spoken and written English

  • Computer literate with proven experience of Microsoft Office and experience of information systems
