Shift times: 7.5 hour shifts Monday to Friday between 9am and 8pm (Overtime available Saturdays at Elstree on a voluntary basis)

We’re looking for a Senior Radiographer to join our team at Golders Green Outpatients, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

Our outpatients centre has been part of the community in Golders Green for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional private healthcare locally, for the whole family. We offer fast access to specialist outpatient care and rapid reporting, treating a wide range of conditions.

With clinics led by consultants from The Wellington Hospital, our patients benefit from the expertise of our leading consultants and multidisciplinary team. Our extensive range of specialties include Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics and Rheumatology.

Combined with onsite diagnostic testing such as MRI and DEXA scans, ensures we can provide quick and accurate diagnosis service. Our MRI, DEXA and Ultrasound suite is getting a refurb and due to be upgraded by 2026.

As a Senior Radiographer, you’ll provide a high level of customer-focus to our patients and service users through high quality diagnostic radiography. In addition to working at Golders Green you will also be asked to rotate and support at Elstree which has more of an acute focus.

This role will require lone working at times so you will need to be confident in your ability to make decisions

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Skilfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating Imaging equipment in accordance with operational procedures and ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.

  • Conduct oneself professionally at all times and achieve and maintain high standards of practice within the department practicing high levels of customer care.

  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency,

  • To rotate between areas as required

  • Assist in staff and students with orientation and training.

  • Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the correct parties.

What you’ll bring:

  • HCPC registration

  • Extensive experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK

  • MRI Experience in the UK

  • IV Cannulation ( desirable)

  • Experience in Paediatrics, MSK, GI and also Dexa Screening (desirable)

  • Inpatients acute experience
